Matthew 5:1-16 The Beatitudes


But what does it say? "THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH
AND IN YOUR HEART" - that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,

that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved;

for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE
DISAPPOINTED." ROMANS 10:8-11


For by grace you have been saved through faith; and
that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.

not as a result of works, so no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9


Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born
of God, and whoever loves the Father loves the child born of Him.

By this we know that we love the children of God,
when we love God and observe His commandments.

For this is the love of God, that we keep His
commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world;
and this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith.

Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he
who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:1-5


Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God,
God abides in him, and he in God. 1 John 4:15


Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find;
knock, and it will be opened to you.

For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds,
and to him who knocks it will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8


God is spirit, and those who worship Him must
worship in spirit and truth. John 4:24


Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual
blessing in heavenly places in Christ,

just as He chose us in Him before the foundation
of the world, that we would be holy and blame-
less before Him. In love. Ephesians 1:3-4

"For this is the will of My Father, that everyone, who beholds the Son
and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise

of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

{9} not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

{10} For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus
for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that
we would walk in them.

{11} Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in
the flesh, who are called "Uncircumcision," by the so-called
"Circumcision," which is performed in the flesh by human hands-

{12} remember that you were at that time separate from
Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and
strangers to the covenants of promise, having no
hope and without God in the world.

{13} But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far
off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

{14} For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups
into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall,

{15} by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is
the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that
in Himself He might make the two into one new man,
thus establishing peace,

{16} and might reconcile them both in one body to God
through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity.

{17} AND HE CAME AND PREACHED PEACE TO YOU WHO
WERE FAR AWAY, AND PEACE TO THOSE WHO WERE NEAR;

{18} for through Him we both have our access in one
Spirit to the Father.

{19} So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you
are fellow citizens with the saints, and are
of God's household,

{20} having been built on the foundation of the apostles
and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone,

{21} in whom the whole building, being fitted together,
is growing into a holy temple in the Lord,

{22} in whom you also are being built together into
a dwelling of God in the Spirit.


Surely God is good to Israel, To those who are pure in heart!
Psalm 73:1   Blessed are the pure in heart, for
they shall see God.  Matthew 5:8

For neither is circumcision anything,
but a new creation.

And those who will walk by this rule, peace and mercy
be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.

From now on let no one cause trouble for me,
for I bear on my body the brand-marks of Jesus.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your

and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that

I have spoken to you.

{4} "Abide in Me, and I in you, As the branch cannot bear
fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you
unless you abide in Me.

{5} "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides
in Me and I in Him, he bear much fruit, for apart from Me
you can do nothing.

{6} " If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away
as a branch and dries up, and they gather then, and
cast them into the fire and they are burned.

{7} "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you,
ask what ever wish, and it will be done for you.

{8} "My Father is glorified by this, that you bear
much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.


{9} "Just as the Father has loved Me, I have
also loved you; abide in My love.

{10} "If you keep My commandments, you will
abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's
commandments and abide in His love.

{11} "These things I have spoken to you so that My joy
may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.

Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.
