Jesus Christ Is Lord- The Reason For the Season!

Bible Lesson: Sunday December 23, 2007
Subject: Good News of great joy which will be
for all the people! Text: Luke 2:1-14, Luke 2:32

Luke 2:1-14, Luke 2:32

Now in those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus,
that a census be taken of all the inhabited earth.

[2] This was the first census taken while Quirinius was
governor of Syria.

[3] And everyone was on his way to register for the
census, each to his own city.

[4] Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of
Nazareth, to Judea, the city of David which is called Bethlehem,
because he was of the house and family of David,

[5] in order to register along with Mary, who was engaged
to him, and was with child.

[6] While they were there, the days were completed
for her to give birth.

[7] And she gave birth to her firstborn son; and she wrapped
Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there
was no room for them in the inn.

[8] In the same region there were some shepherds staying
out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night.

[9] And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them,
and the glory of the Lord shone around them;
and they were terribly frightened.

[10] But the angel said to them,
"Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news
of great joy which will be for all the people;

[11] for today in the city of David there has been born
for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

[12] "This will be a sign for you:
you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying
in a manger."

[13] And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude
of the heavenly host praising God and saying,

[14] "Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace among men with whom
He is pleased."

And the glory of Your people Israel.

[17] Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature;

[18] Now all these things are from God, who reconciled
us to Himself through Christ and gave us the
ministry of reconciliation,

[19] namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world
to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them,
and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

[20] Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ,
as though God were making an appeal through us,
we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

[21] He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our
behalf, so that we might become the righteousness
of God in Him.

Jesus said (John 3:7) "You must be born again".
The Greatest Story ever told was sent to the heart, mind
and soul of mankind. The Gospel was sent in Demonstration
of God’s Pure Love in Jesus Christ Our Lord.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten
Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but
have eternal life. John 3:16 {Updated NASB}

"You must be born again"!

Romans 10:8-10 It is written in our Bible {Updated NASB}

[8]But what does it say? "THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR
MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART" "that is, the word of faith
which we are preaching,

[9]that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord,
and believe in your heart that God raised Him from
the dead, you will be saved;

[10]for with the heart a person believes, resulting
in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses,
resulting in salvation.


Born blessed in Jesus Christ and blameless in the love
of Our Lord God Almighty. It’s okay to lose your mind for
the Mind of Christ. He is our life, and by grace are you
saved through faith. Let the redeemed of the
LORD say so! We are one In Jesus Christ.
