Deuteronomy 6: 3-12 {Updated NASB}

[3] "O Israel, you should listen and be careful to do it, that it may
be well with you and that you may multiply greatly, just as the
LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in a land
flowing with milk and honey.

[4] "Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!

[5] "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and all
your soul and with all your might.

[6] "These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be
on your heart.

[7] "You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall
talk of them when you sit in your house and when you
walk by the way and when you lie down and when
you rise up.

[8] "You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall
be as frontals on your forehead.

[9] "You shall write them on the doorpost of your
house and on your gates.

[10] "Then it shall come about when the LORD your God brings
you into the land which He swore to your fathers, Abraham,
Isaac and Jacob, to give you, great and splendid cities
which you did not build,

[11] and houses full of all good things which you did not fill,
and hewn cisterns which you did not dig, vineyards and olive
trees which you did not plant, and you eat and are satisfied,

[12] then watch yourself, that you do not forget the LORD
who brought you from the land of Egypt, out of the
house of slavery.

[7]Then on that day David first assigned Asaph and his
relatives to give thanks to the LORD.

[8] Oh give thanks to the LORD,
call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the people.

[9] Sing to Him, sing praises to Him;
Speak of all His wonders.

[10] Glory in His holy name;
Let the heart of those who seek the LORD be glad.
 
[11] Seek the LORD and His strength;
Seek His face continually.

[12] Remember His wonderful deeds which He has done,
His marvels and judgments from His mouth,
 
[13] O seed of Israel His servant,
Sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.

[14] He is the LORD our God;
His judgments are in all the earth.

[15] Remember His covenant forever,
The word which He commanded to a thousand generations,

[16] The covenant which He made with Abraham,
And His oath to Isaac.

[17] He also confirmed it to Jacob for a statute,
To Israel as an everlasting covenant,

[18] Saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan,
As the portion of your Inheritance."

[19] When they were only a few in number,
Very few, and strangers in it,

[20] And they wandered about from nation to nation,
And from one kingdom to another people,

[21] For assuredly He permitted no man to oppress them,
And He reproved kings for their sakes, saying,

[22] "Do not touch My anointed ones,
And do My prophets no harm."

[23] Sing to the LORD all the earth,
Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day.

[24] Tell of His glory among the nations,
His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.

[25] For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
He also is to be feared above all gods.

[26] For all the gods of the peoples are idols,
But the LORD made the heavens.

[27] Splendor and majesty are before Him,
Strength and joy are in His place.

[28] Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the people,
 Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.

[29] Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name;
Bring an offering, and come before Him;
Worship the LORD in holy array.

[30] Tremble before Him, all the earth;
Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will
not be moved.

[31] Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;
And let them say among the nations, "The LORD reigns."

[32] Let the sea roar, and all it contains,
Let the field exult, and all that is in it.

[33] Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before the LORD;
For He is coming to judge the earth.

[34] O give thanks to the LORD for He is good;
For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

[35] Then say, "Save us, O God of our salvation,
And gather us and deliver us from the nations,
To give thanks to Your holy name,
And glory in Your praise.

[36] Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel,
From everlasting even to everlasting.
Then all the people said, "Amen,"
and praise the LORD.

[32] And now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace,
which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among
all those who are sanctified.

[1] Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God,
To the saints who are at Ephesus and who are
faithful in Christ Jesus:

[2] Grace to you and peace from God our Father
and the Lord Jesus Christ.

[3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing
in heavenly places in Christ,

[4] just as He chose us in Him before the foundation
of the world, that we would be holy and
blameless before Him. In love

[5] He predestined us to adoption as sons through
Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind
intention of His will,

[6] to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He
freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

[7] In Him we have redemption through His blood,
the forgiveness of our trespasses, according
to the riches of His grace.

[8] which He lavished on us. In all wisdom
and insight

[9] He made known to us the mystery of His will,
according to His kind intention which He
purposed in Him.

[10] with a view to an administration suitable to
the fullness of the times, that is, the summing
up of all things in Christ, things in heaven
and thing on the earth. In Him

[11] also we have obtained an inheritance, having
been predestined according to His purpose who
works all things after the counsel of His will,

[12] to the end that we who were the first to hope
in Christ would be to the praise of His glory.

[13] In Him, you also, after listening to the message
of truth, the gospel of your salvation-having also
believed, you were sealed in Him with the
Holy Spirit of promise,

[14] who is given as a pledge of our inheritance,
with a view to the redemption of God's own
possession, to the praise of His glory.

[15] For this reason I too, having heard of the faith
in the Lord Jesus which exists among you
and love for all the saints,

[16] do not cease giving thanks for you, while
making mention of you in my prayers;

[17] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom
and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.

[18] I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened,
so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what
are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

[19] and what is the surpassing greatness of His power
toward us who believe. These are according with the working
of the strength of His might

[20] which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him
from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the
heavenly places,

[21] far above all rule and authority and power and
dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this
age but also in the one to come.

[22] And He put all things in subjection under His feet,
and gave Him as head over all things to the church,

[23] which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

[1] And You, were dead in your trespasses and sins,

[2] in which you formerly walked according to the course of this
world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the
spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.

[3] Among them we too all formerly lived in the lust of our
flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind,
and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.

[4] But God, being rich in mercy, because of His
great love with which He loved us,

[5] even when we were dead in our transgressions,
made us alive together with Christ (by grace
you have been saved),

[6] and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him
in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

[7] so that in the ages to come He might show
the surpassing riches of His grace in
kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

[8] For by grace you have been saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves, it is
the gift of God;

[9] not as a result of works, that
no one may boast.

[10] For we are His workmanship, created in
Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared
beforehand so that we would
walk in them.
